The reason for making this section for my blog is that I love to read and I’m tired of not milking the resources I have in my university. Different books; words, photos, definitions and quotes. 

Book: Choice People

I love that in the library of my university there’s a section of books that go by Weird Books. I headed for that isle. The book contains the experiences of the author with various well-known individuals. 

I really didn’t have much time at the library so I just read a couple of pages. I looked through the index and got really curious about ”Chapter 8”. Since I adore the voice of Albert, I ended up scanning the chapter.

I didn’t knew:

• adjutant= a staff officer who assists the commanding officer in issuing orders. 
• gaudy= brilliantly or excessively showy.
• bobby-soxer’s= 40’s sociological coinage denoting the fans of swing music.
• clotheshorse= 
• roadhouse= tavern or nigthclub.
• raison d’être= ”reason for existence”
• ingratiating= adj. charming or agreeable.
